Shipping

How long does delivery take?

Most orders arrive within 8–15 business days of dispatch (10–20 for regional areas, WA, NT and Tasmania). We ship direct from our manufacturing partners overseas – it's slower than a local warehouse, but it's how we keep prices fair. Full details on our Shipping & Delivery page.

Is shipping free?

Yes on orders over $99. Under $99 it's a flat $9.95, tracked.

Will I get tracking?

Always. The tracking number is emailed the moment your order is dispatched. It can take a few days to show the first scan while the parcel is in transit to Australia.

Do you ship outside Australia?

Not yet – Australia only for now.

Returns

What if I change my mind?

You have 30 days from delivery to return an unused item for a refund. See Returns & Refunds.

What if it arrives damaged or doesn't work?

Email us photos and we'll replace it or refund you – usually without needing it back. You're fully covered by the Australian Consumer Law.

Products

Which sofa mat size do I need?

Measure the seat area you want covered and choose the size that matches or slightly overhangs it. If you're between sizes, go up – a mat that hangs over the edge protects far better than one that stops short. The size guide is on the product page.

Does the GPS locator need a SIM card or a subscription?

It needs a nano-SIM with a small data plan (from a telco – not included), and the 4G model is the one to buy for Australia because the 3G networks have been switched off. There is no subscription fee to us or to the app, which is what makes it cheaper over time than most branded trackers.

Is the clipper OK for thick or double coats?

Yes – the titanium blades and 120-minute runtime are chosen for exactly that. Brush the coat out first, work with the hair growth, and clip out any mats with scissors first (no clipper handles mats well).

Will the carrier backpack fit my dog?

It's designed for small to medium pets up to roughly 8 kg who can sit or curl up comfortably. Check the internal dimensions on the product page against your pet – they should be able to turn around. It's not suitable for large breeds.

Are your products suitable for cats?

Most of them – the sofa mat, clipper, GPS locator and carrier all work well for cats. Browse the Cats collection.

Ordering & payment

What payment methods do you accept?

Major credit and debit cards, plus the express payment options shown at checkout. All payments are processed securely by Shopify – we never see or store your card details.

Do your prices include GST?

DiscountPaws is not currently registered for GST, so no GST is charged. The price you see is the price you pay.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Email us as soon as possible with your order number. If the order hasn't been dispatched we'll change or cancel it; if it has, the 30-day return policy applies.
