DiscountPaws is a Melbourne-based store for people whose pet is part of the furniture – sometimes literally.
We started with a simple frustration: the gear that actually makes life with a dog easier – something to save the couch, a clipper that doesn't send them under the bed, a way to know where they are when the gate's been left open – was either flimsy and cheap or wildly overpriced with a brand name attached. There wasn't much in between.
What we do
We curate a small range of everyday gear for Australian pet homes and price it fairly. Every product is chosen because it solves a real problem, holds up to daily use, and looks like it belongs in your house. If it doesn't do all three, we don't stock it.
About the name
The "discount" isn't a bargain bin. It's the money you stop spending when you buy the right thing once instead of the wrong thing three times – the couch you don't replace, the groomer you don't book monthly, the "lost dog" posters you never print.

- Growing carefully. We're starting with dogs (and gear that suits cats too) and adding categories as we find products worth putting our name on.
